Welcome to my home page!
I am an Associate Professor in the Astroparticle Physics Experiments (APEX) group in the Department of Physics at Carleton University.
My current research goals are:
- To develop software for detector simulation, event reconstruction and data analysis, including machine-learning algorithms, for DEAP-3600 and next-generation liquid argon experiments looking for dark matter, and nEXO looking for neutrinoless double beta decay in liquid xenon
- To evaluate the suitability of silicon photomultipliers (SiPM) to detect scintillation light from liquid argon and xenon for future large-scale low-background experiments
- To contribute to the design, planning, construction and operation of these experiments
