I am a contract
instructor in the department of Physics. I specialize in pedagogy
of Physics Education, and research into new methods of teaching
courses, particularly courses for non-specialists.I have won the Faculty of Science Excellence in Teaching Award for Contact Instructors in both 2012 and 2014.
I am currently the holder of a Carleton Contract Instructor Teaching Innovation Grant, to develop web based teaching simulations of physical systems, using JavaScript. Please follow the "Research" link for more details of this project, known as XJS Scientia
