Biography
Dr. Tong Xu received his PhD on Particle Physics in year 2000 from the University of Science and Technology of China. After his PhD, he worked for 6 years in the medical imaging physics lab at University of California-Irvine. He currently is an Associate professor in the Department of Physics, Carleton University. Dr. Xu has many years of experiences in the areas of medical imaging physics and detectors, radiation therapy physics and delivery techniques. His current research interest is a new 3D tracking technique for medical applications.
