Description

This bank contains constants and flags for the MSW generator portion of
SNOMAN. They are set in mc_set_msw.dat, read in by inmsw.for and held
a common block in titles_msw.inc.
Data Words

Fixed length Database Header. See titles_dbhdr.html
1 SOLMOD Flag describing which Bahcall Solar Model to use:-
1=BU, 3=BP, 4=BP w/He diff,
5=BP w/He & Metal diff, 6=BP NO diffusion,
7=BP1998, 8=BP2000, 9=BP2001
2 ERRDXFN Energy shift in neutrino spectra (bias)
3 B8_SOLFAC Factor to scale B8 nu flux (for SSM or MSW).
4 HEP_SOLFAC Factor to scale hep nu flux (for SSM or MSW).
5 T_CORE Flag: Sets the core temperature of the Sun.
6 NU_MOD Flag: which neutrino model to use (eg. SSM or MSW Dirac, etc):-
0=SSM, 1=MSW Dirac, 2=MSW Majoranna, 3=Vac
7 NU_TYP Flag: sets which type of neutrino (B8, hep or both):-
11=8B & hep, 10=B8, 01=hep
8 NUFLAV Binary flag: neutrino flavor: nue, numu or both is set here
10=nue,01=numu,11=both , etc
9 OS_TYP Flag which turns on/off Sterile neutrinos.
0=normal, 1=sterile
10 SOL_SLTN Flag: hardwired Solar Nu problem solutions (NA, LA, user etc).
0=NA, 1=LA, 2=Just So, 3=User
11 DM2 User set value of MSW parameter delta m squared.
12 S22TH User set value of MSW parameter sin squared 2 theta.
13 LANZEN Flag to set the prob. of jumping flavors for MSW.
0=finite/Inf, 1=Inf only (Pizzacaro Adb),
2=Petcov Formula, 3=Inf Landau/Zener appr
14 NU_INT Binary flag: interaction(s) desired (CC, NC, ES, all etc.).
100=ES, 010=CC, 001=NC, 111=ALL 3, etc
15 C_SCTN Flag which chooses between Kubodera and Haxton cross sections.
0=Kubodera, 1=Haxton, 2=NSGK,
3=BCK, 4=EBL, 5=NETAL
16 DUR_ON Flag which turns on/off duration to count NGEN events.
0= use Ngen from job_control,
1= duration to calculate an expected number of events for Ngen.
2= use duration to set a time limit for the run.
17 DURATION Sets the number of days of data desired (if DUR_ON = 1)
18 ORBECC Flag: turns on/off the correction for orbital eccentricity.
0=no, 1=yes
19 EARTHE Flag: which style of Earth effect (turn on/off Earth effect).
0=No EE,
1=EE avg over year - day & night,
2=EE avg over year - night only,
3=EE specific time/date
20 N_YEAR Number of points per year to average for Earth effect (with
EE=1,2)
21 N_NGHT Number of points per night to average for Earth effect (with
EE=1,2)
22 B8_SPEC_SEL Flag indicating which B8 spectrum is to be selected.
1 = Bahcall,
2 = Bahcall + 1 sigma,
3 = Bahcall - 1 sigma,
4 = Ortiz,
5 = Ortiz + 1 sigma,
6 = Ortiz - 1 sigma
7 = Freedman
8 = Freedman + 1 sigma
9 = Freedman - 1 sigma
23 BUTFL Flag input into BCK cross section calculation.
24 RADIATIVE_FLAG
Flag enabling radiative corrections:-
= 0 - none, = +-1 - KMV
If -ve generate bremstralung gamma in CC reaction.
25 ANTI_FLAG Flag to enable anti-neutrino cross sections (for KN and NETAL only)
=0 - regular neutrinos
=1 - anti-neutrinos
26 ES_RADIATIVE_FLAG
Flag enabling radiative correction for neutrino-electron
scattering (ES)
= 0 - none, = 1 - use radiative correction
