Split Titles

SPLIT_TITLES is a utility to split up a file containing one or more titles banks into its component banks and store each in a separate file. The command format is:-

 
      input-file   output-file-template
e.g   job.dat      titles_*.dat

The output file template is a standard file specification except that it must contain one '*' character. The template is used to generate a family of output file names in which * is replaced by the name of the bank that the file contains.
