BackTrack Training for Bloodstain Pattern Analysts

1.     "Advanced Training for Bloodstain Pattern Analysts using Mathematics, Physics and Computers" is a 5 day course offered every May by the Ontario Police College (OPC) at Alymer, Ontario Canada. The laboratory part of the course involves the analysis of bloodstain patterns. The candidates receive a thorough introduction to the use of the BackTrack Suite software. The presequisite for this course is the basic 40-hour course in BPA. The instructor is Dr Brian Yamashita, of the Research and Review Section of the RCMP.

2.     The course described above is a required course for members of the RCMP who are studying to qualify as bloodstain pattern analysists and as a result, it will be offered from time to time when needed.
